April 7, 2009 Town Board Meeting Minutes

Present:
Richard Knox - Town Supervisor
Carol Coller - Councilwoman
Evah Foster - Councilwoman
David Whiteford - Councilman
Tess Eells - Town Clerk

The Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Knox at 8:03pm.

Supervisor Knox handed out two local laws for the board to look over for the April 15th meeting.

Local Law #1: Establishing a Housing Safety and Maintenance Code

Local Law #2: Preventing residents from the Town of Russell to put hay bales, farm machinery or other debris in the road within the Town's right-of-way.

Resolution #42: Executive Session

A motion was made by Supervisor Knox and seconded by Councilman Whiteford to go into Executive Session to discuss Personnel Litigation at 8:05 pm.

Coller - yes
Foster - yes
Knox - yes
Whiteford - yes

Motion carried.

A motion was made by Councilwoman Foster and seconded by Councilman Whiteford to exit executive session at 8:30pm, all were in favor.

Resolution #43: NYS Labor Board

A motion was made by Councilman Whiteford and seconded by Councilwoman Coller to have the Town attorney Mr. Henry Leader negotiate with the NYS Labor Board.

Knox - yes
Whiteford - yes

Motion carried.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:31 pm, all were in favor.
