Russell Public Library
The new Library at 24 Pestle St. is now open.
Previous hours of operation are retained, yet all is new and fresh. Please come and see the new facilities.
Our grand opening was December 7th, 2008. We have 6 computer stations now, a large childrens section, a cozy
fireplace seating area, and a new Common Room that has a large kitchen and handi-cap bathroom in it. Functions may be
held there but there is a sign-up process which must be followed. Contact Brenda Hale for more information or to
sign-up.
On August 4, 1981 the Russell Public Library opened its doors to the residents of
Russell, fullfilling a long anticipated dream of several of our townspeople.
